Saturday, April 9th, 2016, 10:00am - 3:30pm
This workshop will be an introduction to digital photography.
It will cover fundamental aspects of photography, such as composition, exposure and lighting, as well as specifics of digital capture. These include an understanding of image formats and sizes (pixels), the use of histograms, concepts of image storage and white balance.
As much as possible the content will be focused to the interests of the participants.
Participants are encouraged to bring in images (2-3) that they have taken and have questions about, as well as images that they have seen somewhere and are wondering how they were taken.
Participants should bring their camera (and a blank memory card) for the practical parts. Everyone will receive personal feedback from the instructor.
Cost: $100
