In this workshop participants will learn how to make a small coiled basket that is both functional and visually appealing and, at the same time, discover the joy basketry brings and the sense of calmness it creates.

Participants will learn the basics of coiled basketry with raffia, including – how to start, form and finish a basket.

Trudi will guide you through each step in a relaxed and friendly environment so that each person will be confident in the process of making a basket. Notes will be provided.

Cost: $100 includes materials. Please note: Because of Covid-19 considerations, lunch will NOT be provided. Please bring your own lunch. Arrangements can be made to pre-order from the local cafe/ takeaway if you wish.

Places are strictly limited to allow social distancing. Please do not attend the workshop if you are unwell. Temperature checks will be done on arrival.
