Exploring the various materials & techniques that make charcoal an exciting and forgiving medium, this 1 day workshop will quickly help you understand and hone your charcoal skills. Each student will work on a project of their choosing, with assistance all the way, to ‘see’ and translate through the medium into the finished work.

Project options include human or animal portraiture. BYO images or choose one from the many that Karen will have available. Guidance as you select, compose & execute your project.

• Please be aware that that charcoal dust may be an irritant to some people and you will be required to follow safety procedures shown to you for your own & fellow students safety. Please do not enrol if you have a dust allergy.

Cost: $100 includes lunch*. Some material required. List available on booking.
