Prema Harris was faced with barriers to her creativity, and has found ways to work through them and increase her powers to overcome the obstacles that were blocking her art practice.

Come and hear how Prema has achieved this.

Alla Prima Painting Demonstration

Alla Prima Painting Demonstration with

Friday, November 4th, 2016, 7:00pm - 9:00pm

The work of Louise Feneley first came to my attention when I saw images in a journal at the Newcastle Community Art Centre. It was love at first sight and I decided to learn more about the artist and her process.

Louise is an Alla Prima painter, working in oil, who paints still life, portraiture and landscapes.

Her work has been selected for major award exhibitions such as the Kennedy Prize, Eutick Memorial Still Life Award, the Portia Geach Memorial Award. Her painting “White Air” was bought for the Australian Parliament collection.

She teaches and works in South Australia. Not being able to get there myself, I decided to invite her to come to Finite Gallery – and she is coming!

Join me for this wonderful opportunity to see Louise Feneley give a painting demonstration at Finite Gallery. This is a precursor to her Masterclasses on the 5th & 6th November and 9th & 10th November.

Cost: $25 includes supper  (participants in the Masterclasses gain free entry to this event)
