Richard is a self-taught emerging artist who has always admired artworks.

He spent decades as an automotive spray painter, mixing and matching colours, always in the back of his mind thinking he would rather be painting pictures than vehicles.

Richard travelled extensively and would always call in to art galleries, mostly captivated by watercolour.

After retiring from his smash repair business, one day his wife brought home some paints, and he has never looked back!

Richard has been a surfer and fisherman all his life, hence the subject matter of his paintings.
