Campbell_Heather

Heather liked working in clay from a young age – she found it easy and immediate.

“I enjoy making functional forms, domestic ware and sculptural work. Usually it pertains to the female form in all its guises – not fussy in overworked detail, but simplistic and more contemporary rather than representative.”

Heather started ceramics at Glenn Innes TAFE in the 1980’s exhibiting at Inverell Art Society. She later gained an associate Diploma of Fine Art from Newcastle TAFE, and a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Newcastle in 2002.

“I have been involved in pottery groups for many years and love the medium, and endeavour to develop something new each time.”
